In the Polish city of Gdansk, a cruise ship turned over. According to representatives of the municipal headquarters of the state fire service, most likely it overturned as a result of waves created by a tugboat working nearby. There were 14 people on board.
One man with injuries was taken to hospital, but information about his death was received on Sunday. It was the fourth death among passengers.
More than 20 firefighters, rescuers and policemen took part in the rescue operation on the Motlava River.
The municipality added that the investigation is already underway, and the procedure itself is due to formally begin on Monday.
