Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko called on Ukrainians today from 17:00 to 22:00 to reduce electricity consumption. After all, this will help the power grids to cope with the load.

“From 17:00 to 22:00 we have the maximum load on the power system every day. Today it is necessary to turn off the light, not to use electrical appliances, in order for the whole country to survive a difficult day. This is very important for every city and for every citizen,” Tymoshenko said.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy Andriy Gerus described that it is worth turning off today from 17:00 to 22:00.
According to MP Gerus, the following devices are the most energy-consuming:
– electric heaters
– boilers
– kitchen electric stove,- microwave,
– washing machine,
– electric oven,
– electric kettle (coffee maker),
– iron
–
dishwasher-air
conditioning-chargers-vacuum
cleaner-computer-TV
“More frugal use of lighting in the evening hours will ease the load on the power system,” said the chairman of the energy committee.

In the morning, the Russian occupiers struck a critical energy supply infrastructure facility in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region. Currently, in many communities and cities of the region there is no power supply.
