Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that after today’s massive Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine, additional arguments for recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism are unnecessary, since Moscow itself has proved who it really is .

“Now no additional arguments are needed to prove: Russia is a terrorist state, a state sponsor of terrorism. Everyone who then tries to cooperate with Russia, to deny the terrorist essence of the Moscow regime, will have obvious problems with explanations,” the Ministry of Defense quoted Reznikova as saying.

He noted that the Russians had previously hit the energy infrastructure, residential buildings, schools and hospitals in Ukraine with missiles. But today’s massive attack is eloquently indicative of their confusion and nervousness because it is counterproductive and will have devastating consequences for Russia.
This means that Moscow has not achieved any military goal. On the contrary, Ukrainian defenders and defenders received additional motivation to quickly expel the enemy, who shells the cities in the rear, where their loved ones live.
Currently, all Russian loyalists, open and “hybrid” agents of influence in the West now find themselves at a crossroads. They must either condemn the Kremlin’s cannibal actions or support them. Avoiding a clear position is actually supporting crimes.
“Similarly, Russian figures who disapprove of these crimes have very little time left to show their disagreement and dissociate themselves publicly. Because then we will have to share responsibility,” the head of the defense ministry stressed.
He added that if in recent months, in conversations with partners, Ukraine had to look for ways to prevent “fatigue” from Ukraine, now the Russians have done everything for us. They clearly showed that they are deliberately arranging a humanitarian crisis that will hit not only Ukraine, but throughout Europe.
The destruction of life support infrastructure could trigger new waves of refugees. Hundreds of thousands of people who have returned from Europe may be forced to seek salvation there again. Millions will join them. After all, the destruction of the power system is not only about heating. It’s about food and water, sewage, disease and all the associated consequences.
“Against this background, it is much easier to explain why we need additional weapons very quickly, first of all , air defense and missile defense systems. Our specialists have proven their skills by shooting down almost half of the missiles and kamikaze drones. By providing the Defense Forces of Ukraine with more means, it is possible to significantly reduce the level of threat from the air. In the coming days, fewer words will be needed during ramstein meetings and at NATO Headquarters. The Russians themselves are doing to maximize the list of legitimate goals to neutralize the risks,” Reznikov said.

The Minister of Defense stressed that the best response to Russian missile terror would be the supply of anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems to Ukraine.
