The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the opening of two criminal cases against MP Anton Yatsenko.

“Based on the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court, the Prosecutor General entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the fact of possible commission by a people’s deputy of criminal offenses under Part 1 of Art. 366-2 and Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The NABU is entrusted with conducting the pre-trial investigation,” the response reads.
The SAPO did not disclose details regarding which offenses are being referred to in the cases, citing the secrecy of the investigation.

As UNN reported, two criminal cases have been opened against MP Anton Yatsenko regarding illicit enrichment and entering inaccurate data into the declaration.
Earlier, journalists discovered that the family of MP Yatsenko owns luxury real estate in the capital and Kyiv region. In particular, the mp’s father-in-law recorded an estate in the village of Kozyn near Kyiv with an area of more than 1.5 thousand square meters. Kv. a number of real estate with a total value of about $ 8 million were recorded on it.
