“The main issue here is access to the Red Cross. I would like to appeal to you, on your respectable platform, to address the representatives and leadership of the Red Cross. All these years they should have access to prisoners, and this has been going on since the beginning of the occupation of our Crimea and Donbas. There was no access to our prisoners, the Red Cross cannot reach there, get there,” Zelenskyy said.

The President noted that this has been happening for 8 years.
“Now, when thousands of our prisoners after a full-scale invasion are in the occupied parts of Donbas, where they are tortured and what is not done to them, there is also no access. We can’t, Ukrainians, fight for the Red Cross to find an opportunity, the Red Cross has to fight because it’s their job because they get paid for it because the whole world is looking at them. They must put pressure on Russia to get there,” Zelenskyy said.
Supplement
It was reported that after the explosion and death of people in Olenivka, the Russian occupiers did not allow ICRC representatives to join prisoners of war in the colony.
