The Russian occupiers release only 20-30 cars a day through an enemy checkpoint in Vasilyevka, Zaporizhia region, earlier more than a thousand people could leave. This was announced during a briefing by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov .

“Today, there is terror because of evacuation, which is almost non-existent. Earlier, more than a thousand of our residents from all the temporarily occupied territories could travel across the contact line in Vasylivka every day: Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. Currently, there is no such possibility, because rashists produce only 20-30 cars daily, no more. There are days when they do not let out at all,” Fedorov said.
He added that the occupiers are constantly changing the rules of departure – last Saturdays and Sundays they declared days off.

On October 12, Ivan Fedorov reported that the exit through the Crimea was closed, and the exit through Vasilyevka towards Zaporozhye was limited. There were 4 thousand people in line at the enemy checkpoint. In 10 days, 200 people were released. An alternative way is through Berdyansk and Novoazovsk.
