The United States warns of its readiness to impose sanctions on individuals, companies, and countries that supply ammunition to or support Russia’s military-industrial complex. This was stated by US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo .
On Friday, a meeting was held in the United States attended by officials from 32 countries to discuss sanctions against Russia. Adeyemo said the U.S. Treasury Department would issue a guide explaining that Washington is ready and can impose such tough measures.

“… The Office for Foreign Assets Control of the Ministry of Finance will issue a statement clearly stating that we are ready and can impose sanctions on people, companies or countries that supply ammunition to Russia or support the Russian military-industrial complex,” Adeyemo said before his speech.

He added that the Treasury Office for Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security will talk about the measures taken against Russia’s military-industrial complex and note the risks faced by those who provide material support to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
According to the agency, Russia is “wasting ammunition at an excessive pace” and is appealing to countries such as Iran and North Korea, including equipment, missiles and artillery ammunition.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said the country allegedly did not supply Russia with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
