De-occupation in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions helped to return the infrastructure of the gas transmission system of Ukraine to control and restore the possibility of gas transportation, the Ukrainian GTS Operator said .

“The Ukrainian GTS Operator has resumed the operation of 6 gas distribution stations (GDS) in the liberated territories of eastern Ukraine. The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided gtsou specialists with access to damaged sections of the gas transmission system,” the company said.

As reported, repair work on the infrastructure of the GTS continues around the clock.
“In particular, on October 7-14, the company’s specialists restored the possibility of transporting gas through 8 GDS in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Of these, 6 GDS were included in the work, the rest are in reserve,” the company said.
“Despite the hostilities, the company continues to provide reliable gas transportation to Ukrainian consumers,” GTSOU stressed.
