Russian troops are massively shelling Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure because they have failed on the battlefield. This was reported by the intelligence of the British Ministry of Defense .

As noted, since October 10, Russia has been striking infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine at an accelerated pace with the help of cruise missiles, surface-to-ground missiles and Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
“It is likely that the main goal is to cause large-scale damage to the power distribution network of Ukraine. Since Russia has failed on the battlefield since August, it has most likely become more ready to strike civilian infrastructure in addition to Ukrainian military targets,” the intelligence said.
