During a speech in the European Parliament, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned the shelling of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure facilities by the Russian army, calling it an act of terror .

“Russia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure, especially electricity supplies, are war crimes. Blackouts of lights, water and heating with the arrival of winter are acts of pure terror. And we have to call it that,” she said.
It should be added that due to the recent strikes of the occupiers, a third of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has suffered.
