Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine killed at least 429 children and wounded more than 817. This was reported in Telegram by the Office of the Prosecutor General .

“As of the morning of October 21, 2022, more than 1246 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 429 children were killed and more than 817 injured of varying severity. These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the message says.

It became known that a 5-year-old boy was killed as a result of enemy shelling on March 15 in the village of Liptsy, Kharkiv region.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 417, Kharkiv – 259, Kyiv – 116, Mykolaiv – 77, Zaporizhia – 69, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 64, Kherson – 57, Dnipropetrovsk – 31.
By bombing and shelling, the Russian Armed Forces damaged 2663 educational institutions, 326 of them were completely destroyed.

In the de-occupied Lyman of the Donetsk region, police exhumed the bodies of five children who died as a result of Russian shelling.
