In Donetsk region, gas supply has been restored – district heating will be in 15 communities. This was announced in Telegram by the chairman of the Donetsk OVA Pavlo Kyrylenko .

“In fact, the impossible has been done: gas supply has been restored in the Donetsk region. This is – without exaggeration – the heroic act of all involved in this process. In particular, employees of regional gas companies, Ukrtransgaz, regional and local military administrations,” Kyrylenko said.

The head of the OVA noted that centralized heating will be in 15 communities of Donetsk region. In 10 communities, critical infrastructure facilities will be heated and heating points will be equipped. In another 10 communities, district heating is currently impossible, as active hostilities continue there.
“To date, 4 hospitals and 10 educational institutions in Andriyivska, Udachnenska and Shakhovska communities have already received coolant. In general, the heating season starts in the Donetsk region from November 1. The timing of its beginning, of course, can be influenced by both weather and military actions – the enemy will definitely use the frost factor as a weapon primarily against the civilian population,” Kyrylenko said.

The head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhiy Gaidai, reported that the broken cities of the Luhansk region would not survive the heating season.
