The President informed that the parties had discussed the situation on the frontline, Ukraine’s preparations for winter, the need to rebuild the energy infrastructure damaged by Russian troops, the strengthening of sanctions against Russia, the primary needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“It is important that Ukraine receives air defense systems in the required quantity to create an air shield,” Zelenskyy added.

The United States said it would take into account Russia’s use of kamikaze drones when making future decisions on assistance to Ukraine.
In particular, President Joe Biden and U.S. officials have made it clear that the United States plans to continue to supply Ukraine with various air defenses, including NASAMS systems in an accelerated format.
