The Russian occupiers are building defensive anti-tank fortifications (“Wagner line”) to include the Siverskyi Donets River in the defense zone and try to contain the counterattack of the Ukrainian military. This was reported on Twitter by intelligence of the British Ministry of Defense .

British intelligence recalled how on October 19, the founder of pmc “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin said that in the occupied Luhansk region his team of engineers was building a large fortified line of defense. He published a map of the project showing a section of newly built anti-tank fortifications and trench systems southeast of Kreminna in the Luhansk region.

“If the plans are as ambitious as Prigozhin claims, then the work is likely to be aimed at including the Siverskyi Donets River in the defensive zone, which partially repeats the 2015 line of control,” the statement said.
