The Russian occupiers removed a monument to Grigory Potemkin from the temporarily captured Kherson. This was announced on Facebook by advisor to the head of the Kherson OVA Serhii Khlan .
“Following Ushakov and Suvorov, Potemkin was also “evacuated” from Kherson. Only his remains remained to be stolen from the cathedral by the Russians, I wonder if they will be taken away?” wrote Khlan .

The Russian occupiers are leaving the right-bank part of the Kherson region, plundering museums and enterprises.
Sergey Khlan said that in recent days Russians have been exporting all museum exhibits from the Kherson Museum of Local Lore and other museums. In particular, the Russians took with them monuments to Suvorov and Ushakov. There is information that the occupiers intend to dig up the relics of Potemkin from his burial in Kherson.
