The occupiers are holding 208 people hostage in the Zaporizhia region. This was stated by the head of the Zaporizhia OVA Oleksandr Starukh .
“There were 540 people held hostage by the occupiers in the Zaporizhia region. Of these, 208 are still detained by the Russians,” Starukh said.
He added that the Russian military is constantly detaining civilians – someone for ransom, someone for blackmail. The mayor of Dniprorudny is still in the hands of the enemy.
In addition, the Russians block the points of departure and prohibit citizens from leaving the occupied territories. Currently, more than a thousand people are waiting for the opportunity to leave.
