During the day from October 28 to October 29, rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the State Emergency Service continued to perform their duties in wartime conditions. Rescuers made 17 operational trips.

During the reporting period, 17 operational visits were carried out, of which:
· 8 – for the elimination of fires, 3 of which are related to the conduct of hostilities;
· 1 – for emergency rescue operations;
· 6 – to provide assistance to the population, police and utilities;
· 1 – on duty;
· 1 – other outings.
It is noted that during the day there were 3 fires caused by enemy shelling: 2 in the village of Dvorichna, 1 in the city of Vovchansk. Private houses and outbuildings were burning.
In one of the fires, not related to the fighting, rescuers rescued 9 people, including 4 children. The event happened at 14:42 in a residential 9-storey building in Kharkiv on the street. Heroes of Labor, 38. The apartment and 2 balconies were on fire. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a short closure of the power grid. It was eliminated at 4:07 p.m.

During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service seized and neutralized 413 explosive objects.
Rescuers delivered 20 tons of water to residents of the cities of Kupyansk and Izyum.
