Ukrainian defenders have already invented ways to deal with enemy kamikaze drones. At the same time, the dynamics of their use in the south “froze”, probably due to the weather. This was announced by the spokeswoman of the Defense Forces of the South Natalia Gumenyuk on the air of a telethon .

As for the influence of weather on the use of drones, then, according to Humenyuk, it can be fogs and temperature contrast. “Accordingly, it is difficult to detect them, and the sound is not carried so well, even the same moped sound. But we still have the ways, the capabilities and the outcome of the hit,” she said.

since about mid-September, Russia has been conducting attacks in Ukraine using kamikaze drones, which, according to the Ukrainian military, are Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones, which the Russian occupiers mark as “Geran-2”. Since September 2022, Ukrainian defenders have shot down more than 300 enemy anian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
The SSU has opened criminal proceedings for the supply of Iranian drones and missiles in the Russian war against Ukraine.
Iran has denied several times this month that it is supplying weapons to Russia.
