“This morning, the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center did not provide volume distribution system operators for emergency outages of consumers. There was no need for that,” the company said.
“However, there is an evening peak of consumption ahead, during which restrictions can be applied if necessary. After all, in the evening, returning home, we turn on the light and various electrical appliances, increasing the load on the networks more than in the morning,” the company said.
Details
The company explained that the warm weather and the day off contributed to the fact that in the morning Ukrainians consumed less electricity than at the same time in previous days. The morning peak of consumption was 4.6% lower than the day before on Friday, and its upper point – a little later, which slowed down the growth of consumption.
And they flooded everyone to deliberately reduce the use of powerful electrical appliances, especially in the evening from 17:00 to 23:00.
“Power engineers, meanwhile, are working 24/7 to restore reliable electricity consumption in all corners of Ukraine. After all, in some regions, where the damage to the power grids from the Rashist shelling is very large, Ukrainians still cannot use electricity for a significant part of the day. To restore the normal operation of the networks and their power supply, a very large amount of repair work is required, which continues today 24/7. Therefore, in the afternoon, we expect consumer restrictions in certain places,” the company said.
“At the same time, work is already being completed on streamlining the schedules of consumer outages, which will have to be applied in the future. In the near future, information will appear on what the schedules of consumer restrictions will be in the future so that they are more uniform and understandable for Ukrainians,” Ukrenergo promised.

With the advent of cold weather, Russia has targeted energy facilities in Ukraine. After massive Russian strikes since October 10, a third of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has suffered. After another attack on October 22, Ukrenergo reported that the scale of damage from the strikes was comparable or greater than the consequences of October 10-12. To stabilize the situation, rolling blackouts were introduced.
On the night of October 27, Russia again attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. After that, Ukrainians were imposed stricter and longer-term restrictions on power supply.
