The new service operates in more than 3,000 Ukrposhta branches!
Now you can replenish the card of any Ukrainian bank of Visa and Mastercard payment systems by mail. The conditions for crediting depend on the card issuing bank, but there are several general rules:
replenishment works in more than 3000 branches equipped with payment terminals;
you can transfer to the card an amount from 50 to 4999 UAH for one operation;
the commission for the service is 1.5% of the top-up amount, but not less than UAH 10.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrposhta.
To replenish the card, you need to tell the operator of the post office the amount of replenishment, have the appropriate amount of cash with you taking into account the commission, as well as a bank card that needs to be replenished. If there is no card, the client can make a transaction by indicating to the operator the 16-digit card number.
In addition to replenishing a payment card at Ukrposhta branches, clients can also withdraw funds from a Visa, Mastercard, Prostir bank card without commission.
Let us remind you that in May the Verkhovna Rada launched the transformation of Ukrposhta into a bank. The bill adopted in the first reading assumes that the legal concept of “postal account” will be introduced in Ukraine, it will be possible to open it, in fact, at the post office. If the document is finally adopted, Ukrposhta will be able to issue and service payment cards, as well as attract deposits from businesses and the public, etc. The National Bank is against such innovations.
