In the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region, a significant avalanche danger is expected due to heavy snowfalls.
“According to UkrHydrometeorological Center, on January 7-8, due to the expected snowfalls, a significant avalanche danger (level 3) is expected in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk region,” the statement reads.
Ukrainians were urged not to go to the mountains because of the threat of avalanches.
