As a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Mykolaiv, 149 people were killed and another 698 residents of the city were seriously injured. This was announced at a briefing by the mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich .

“In total, to date, 149 civilians have been killed by rashist missiles in Mykolaiv. 2 of them are children. 698 people were seriously injured, of which 10 were children,” the mayor said.

Currently, there are about 300 internally displaced persons in the city. These are residents of nearby villages, which are located near the contact line.
According to the mayor, people do not stay in Mykolaiv for a long time, because the city is constantly shelled.
“Most of the people who come to Mykolaiv to hide from the war stay here for a few days and move on, because during all the days of the war Mykolaiv was not shelled for 44 days. All the other days we are under the faces, so people don’t stay here, they feel in danger and move on,” Sienkiewicz said.
He added that in Mykolaiv today out of 486 thousand people there are about 220-230 thousand people left. Now people are returning to the city for winter things and going back.

That night, Russian troops fired S-300 missiles at Mykolaiv – a warehouse was destroyed, a building and cars were damaged, and there were no casualties.
