Now Ukraine does not plan to produce ammunition of the 155th caliber for modern artillery systems. This was announced at a briefing by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov .

“As of today, we are not yet establishing the production of the 155th caliber for modern artillery installations of the NATO standard. We hope that we will receive ammunition support from partners. Nevertheless, we have an artillery installation of the 155th caliber “Bogdan”. It passed the first tests, we have a direct dialogue with manufacturers, and if the development of howitzer production continues, then, accordingly, the production of ammunition will be established for it. So far, we have enough from our partners of the 155th caliber,” Reznikov said.
Recall
Germany promised to transfer four howitzers and two MARS systems to Ukraine.
