In all cities of Ukraine, the preparation and deployment of heating points is actively underway – in case of serious problems with vital communications, if the aggressor country does not stop the destruction of CHPPs and thermal power plants. The Center for Strategic Communications has collected answers to the main questions about heating the coming winter .
Where to find a heating point
According to the Ministry of Reintegration, stationary heating points will be deployed in rooms that have suitable conditions for this purpose – these can be administrative buildings, educational institutions, cultural institutions, railway stations, etc. For a complete list and exact locations of heating points, see the regional websites of the State Emergency Service.
The situation in the capital
By the beginning of winter, about a thousand heating points will be formed in Kyiv – about 100 points in each district.
In the Kyiv region, there will be about 750 stationary points in case of a heating outage, said the head of the OVA Oleksiy Kuleba.
How will it be in the de-occupied territories
The State Emergency Service said that they will equip 400 stationary and 100 mobile heating points – see the list and addresses of the location of heating points on the regional websites of the State Emergency Service.
Is Lviv ready for an emergency situation?
The mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovyi, asked the townspeople to organize heating points with stoves, to have a constant supply of technical and drinking water.
What is known about the preparation of Odessa and Kharkov
Stationary heating points in Odessa are organized near residential buildings – the city authorities have already identified 141 objects for the arrangement of stationary heating points. We are talking about 67 storage facilities, 68 educational institutions and mobile heating points, 400 cubic meters of firewood were harvested.
In Kharkiv, it will be possible to warm up in the equipped subway, schools and basements – kitchens will be arranged on the ground, sockets will work and there will be an opportunity to stay overnight at heating points.
