Reznikov said that despite the announcement of the retreat, Russia has 40 thousand troops in the Kherson region, and that the occupiers still have forces in the city, around it and on the west bank of the Dnieper.

“It is not so easy to withdraw these troops from Kherson in one or two days. At least it will take one week,” Reznikov said.
Ukraine’s defense minister said such an exit would free up forces from both sides to fight elsewhere, and suggested that Russia could strengthen its units in the neighboring Zaporizhia region, which had also been partially occupied for several months.
“Winter will slow down any activity on the battlefield for all sides… It is beneficial to all parties,” he said.
He predicted that Ukraine would come out of the break strong, supported by thousands of soldiers studying in Britain.

Reznikov trolled the Russians, saying that within the framework of the project “Mosquitoes against moskals” they plan to recruit up to 300 thousand mosquitoes into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
