Emergency power outages after a new attack by Russian troops on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure will affect Kyiv and four regions, Ukrenergo said, noting that the situation in the power system has become more complicated .

“Tonight, the enemy again hit Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Due to damage to the power grids, the situation in the power system of Ukraine has become more complicated. Currently, emergency emergency shutdowns of consumers have been additionally applied in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr regions,” the company said.

Ukrenergo also noted that emergency outages were applied at night and in the morning in Sumy, Kharkiv and Poltava regions. “They are currently suspended and planned outages continue to operate. But the current situation in the power system may change, especially during the evening peak of electricity consumption,” the company said.
In all other regions of Ukraine, as noted, planned outages continue to operate.
