The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) begins work online on the request of the Ukrainian authorities for a monitoring program, will hold talks with representatives of Ukraine, according to a statement by the IMF Permanent Representative to Ukraine, distributed on Friday, November 11 .

“The IMF mission headed by Gavin Gray starts discussions today with representatives of Ukraine in the context of continuing to discuss the authorities’ request for a monitoring program with the involvement of the IMF Board of Executive Directors,” said Vagram Stepanyan, IMF Post-Representative to Ukraine.

According to the IMF post-representative, the dialogue will be based on the results of the meetings held last month in Vienna, Austria.
“The work of the mission will take place online,” Stepanyan said.

The NBU noted that currently, as part of its work with the International Monetary Fund, they are moving in a schedule that will allow in early December to reach the relevant decision of the IMF to approve the monitoring program.
