Social media reports that explosions have been heard in the city, and an air alarm is currently sounding.
There is currently no official confirmation from the city or regional authorities.
Secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council Anatoliy Kurtev only reported the danger and urged residents to go to shelters.
“Urgent! Go to the shelters closest to you and be there!” he wrote.
