The State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine reports that last day in the liberated Kherson the broadcast of Ukrainian television resumed .

“Now on channel 31 in digital format T2, residents of liberated Kherson and surrounding settlements have access to one of the Ukrainian channels that broadcasts the only news marathon. Therefore, our compatriots in the Kherson region can receive prompt and reliable information about the course of hostilities and the situation in the country,” the message says.

It is reported that this was possible thanks to new powerful transmitters provided to the Broadcasting, Radio and Television Concern by Polish colleagues – Emitel SA.
“A few days before the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region, UOP specialists installed a transmitter with a capacity of 4 kW in the Mykolaiv region near the then existing demarcation line,” the ministry adds.
To watch Ukrainian television, residents of the Kherson region should search for channels in T2 format on their own TVs, pointing the antenna towards the Mykolaiv region.
If you can not find the channel, you should turn the antenna in one direction or the other or raise it higher.
The State Concern also reported that residents of the Kherson region can listen to the first channel of Ukrainian radio at a frequency of 92.0 MHz in the FM band. The signal power is enough to receive it even in some areas of the so far occupied part of the Kherson region.
“Now we broadcast only one channel of Ukrainian television and radio, since for us the primary task was to provide Ukrainians with access to information as quickly as possible. We thank our Polish partners for the equipment that made it possible to return Ukrainian television and radio broadcasting to the liberated territories,” said The State Concern’s Technical Director Serhii Semerey.

On November 11, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that Kherson was returning to Ukrainian control, and Ukrainian military was entering the city.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kherson was returning Ukraine and added that “our defenders are on the outskirts of the city.”
