The Belarus Gayun monitoring group presented photo evidence that the MIG-31K fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which flew over Belarus from Baranovichi, conducted flights, carrying the X-47M2 Dagger hypersonic aerobalistic missile .
Details
The monitoring group explains that this photo for the first time visually confirms that the MiG-31 with the number RF-92339 was converted into a modification of K (it can carry a “Dagger”), before that such information was only RF-92462.
So, it is logical to assume that the 3rd MiG-31K with the number RF-92333, located in Machulyshchi, can also carry the Kh-47M2 Dagger rocket.
This image fully confirms the assumptions of the monitoring group from October 18, 2022, then “Belaruski Gayun” reported that on October 16, exactly three aircraft of the Mig-31K special modification arrived in Belarus, which can carry hypersonic aerobalistic missiles Kh-47M2 “Dagger” and are capable of launching them at a distance of 2000 km.
It was reported that together with the Mig-31K, hypersonic Dagger missiles could also be brought to Belarus. The assumption was made based on the fact that on October 16, three military transport aircraft IL-76 of the Russian Aerospace Forces (RF-86902, RF-76722, RF-76724) flew to the Machulyshchi airfield from the Russian Federation, which could well bring missiles for launches from the MIG-31K.
Recall
Radio Svoboda published satellite images of 3 Belarusian training grounds and an airfield in Machulyshchi, taken by Planet Labs on October 30-31.
The image from October 31 shows an increase in the number of tents for the Russian military, a field camp, a field hospital and a parking lot of equipment with various trucks such as the Urals. In the picture, you can count about 190 tents and 200 trucks.
