The European Union has officially launched a training mission for the Ukrainian military. This was reported by the Representative Office of the Czech Republic, which now chairs the EU .

“The EU Council has launched a training mission (on military assistance) of the Ukrainian Army (EUMAM) to support Ukraine in Russia’s ongoing aggressive war and to train up to 15000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The decision comes into force after publication in the Official Journal,” the statement said.

Earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell reported that the European Union countries would decide today, November 14, to deploy a training mission for the Ukrainian military, which will start working in a few weeks.
According to Borrell, the mission will be located in Poland and involves training about 15 thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He added that there are many countries that wish to participate in this training mission.
