In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, only 1% of educators agreed to cooperate with the Russian invaders, the names of almost all are known. This was stated on the air of the telethon by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet .

According to the minister, the beginning of the new school year in some institutions was postponed several times. In some subjects there were no teachers at all, so they were imported from Russia.
“The educators of Kherson region overwhelmingly refused to cooperate with the occupiers. The heads of the occupied educational institutions generally appointed anyone. Some of them not only did not have a pedagogical education, but were without education at all,” Shkarlet said.
He noted that the names of almost all educators who agreed to cooperate with the Russians are known.
“We cooperate with law enforcement agencies, the names of almost everyone are known. They will be fully accountable to the law for their collaborations,” Scarlet said.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrei Vitrenko stated that school leaders have the right to terminate the employment contract with a teacher who cooperated with the occupiers.
