The leaders of the G20 countries opened talks on Tuesday on the island of Bali, where much attention will be paid to Ukraine.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo asked to “show flexibility and support” so that concrete results could be achieved following the summit.
“We hope that the G20 summit will be able to form concrete partnerships that can help the world in its economic recovery,” he said.
It is also noted that the three-hour bilateral meeting between US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, which took place on the eve of the official opening of the summit, was a positive diplomatic shift.
“The G20, which includes countries from Brazil to India, Saudi Arabia and Germany, accounts for more than 80% of the world’s gross domestic product, 75% of international trade and 60% of the population,” the publication adds.
In addition, diplomatic sources say a joint G20 communiqué that all parties would have to agree on is unlikely, as Indonesia instead insists on a declaration of leaders.
Recall
The Ukrainian delegation at the G20 summit will be de facto represented by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia Vasyl Hamianin.
