As a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, at least 433 children were killed and more than 837 wounded. This was reported in Telegram by the Office of the Prosecutor General .

The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that on November 17, as a result of an enemy missile strike on a private house in the city of Vilniansk, Zaporizhia region, 10 people were killed. Including two children, aged 11 and 17. Also on November 17, a 15-year-old girl was wounded as a result of shelling by the occupiers of the city of Dnipro.
In addition, on November 16, an 11-year-old girl was injured due to the shelling of the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region by Russian troops.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 423, Kharkiv – 265, Kiev – 117, Nikolaev – 77, Zaporozhye – 72, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 64, Kherson – 64, Dnipropetrovsk – 32.
Due to bombing and shelling by the Russian Armed Forces, 2719 educational institutions were damaged, 332 of them were completely destroyed.

11,129 children were illegally deported to Russia, of which 103 children were returned.
