“The 38th bronze minisculpture of the “Look for!” project dedicated to the stick was opened in Kyiv. It is installed at ul. Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska, 1 on the façade of the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv,” the project said.
Details
The authors of the project point out that despite the memes, they decided to seriously approach the creation of this minisculpture. “We consulted with ethnographers about the very form of the fawn. We were helped to choose the ornament of the towel, inherent in the Kyiv region. And it was interesting to recall what a stick is. I recently met two people who thought that this was just a set of sounds that is difficult for the invaders to pronounce,” said Yulia Bevzenko, author of the Shukai project.
From an ethnographic point of view, the choice of a code word is not at all accidental. Guests were greeted with a stick on a towel. A towel is a road and at the same time a border that separates one’s own and others. Someone else just won’t enter the house. And the fawn was a kind of pass.

Addition
Bronze fawn has added a series of minisculptures “Shukai”, dedicated to the symbols of Kiev. There are already 38 of them: Kyiv Cutlet, Kyiv Chestnut, Amosov’s Heart, Hryvna, 5 miniatures at once, telling the stories of Kyiv patrons. After a full-scale invasion, a sculpture of the Ghost of Kiev was installed.
