About 30% of Ukraine’s territory has been mined – the area has increased tenfold due to the war, said the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk on the air of a telethon .

“In general, with regard to demining and mining of the territories of our state, the percentage of mined territories in our country today is about 30% of the entire territory of Ukraine. And this is approximately 2 territories of the country Austria. And our mining areas and volumes have increased tenfold, comparing with the period when we did not fight,” Crook said.

It will take at least 10 years to demine the territory of Ukraine after the war against Russia, according to approximate calculations of the State Emergency Service.
