As a result of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, 437 children were killed, another 299 are considered missing. This is stated in the message of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine .

As of the morning of November 20, 2022, at least 1275 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 437 children were killed and more than 838 were injured of varying severity. Also, 299 children are considered missing and 11225 are deported.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 424, Kharkiv – 266, Kyiv – 117, Mykolaiv – 77, Zaporizhia – 75, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 64, Kherson – 64, Dnipropetrovsk – 32.
The prosecutor’s office emphasizes that these figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Besides, 2719 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces. 332 of them were completely destroyed.
