The Russian occupiers staged a torture chamber for Ukrainian patriots in the temporary detention center of Kherson. The police showed a basement where people were tortured. This was announced in Telegram by the head of the Kherson OVA Yaroslav Yanushevich .

“In the temporary detention center of Kherson, the Russian occupiers arranged a torture chamber for Ukrainian patriots. Ihor Demianiuk, head of the investigation department of particularly serious crimes of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region, showed a basement where Ukrainians were tortured,” Yanushevych wrote.

He said that in this basement, Ukrainians were beaten, wounded, tortured with electric shocks.
“Such a fate awaited Kherson residents who refused to cooperate with the enemy. Even in the detention center, they found a whole warehouse with looted household appliances, which the occupiers were going to take with them,” Yanushevich said.

In the liberated Kherson, four more torture chambers were found, where during the occupation Russian troops illegally detained people and brutally tortured them.
On November 17,it was reported that 11 places of detention were found in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region, including 4 torture chambers.
