The occupiers continue to massively capture civilians from the occupied Melitopol of the Zaporizhia region. As you know, they commit real atrocities against prisoners. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov .

Fedorov noted that according to reports of Melitopol residents who were “put in the basement” by the occupiers and who managed to escape to the territory controlled by Ukraine, people have been kept in torture chambers for months, and some since the beginning of the occupation.
The mayor said the occupiers used electric torture and used prisoners as “training aids” on bullying for mobilized Russians.
