“Attention! In our region, at the direction of Ukrenergo, emergency shutdown schedules, hourly shutdown schedules and special emergency shutdown schedules have been simultaneously introduced! It is currently impossible to predict periods of lack of electricity at addresses, therefore, any previously published schedules and forecasts are not valid now,” the head of the Regional State Administration said.
She stressed that due to the attacks, Ukraine’s energy system had suffered unprecedented damage.
“Electricity generation is critically insufficient to provide the region with light, especially noticeable during the day, when consumption has traditionally increased.
