The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not confirm the information of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, about the alleged 100,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

It was explained there that the head of the European Commission did not indicate whose data this assessment was based on, and later this part was completely cut out of von der Leyen’s appeal.
According to Spinant, director of political communications of the European Commission, this number includes both the dead and the wounded.
At the same time, the General Staff does not confirm the data of the head of the European Commission.
