18,000 people remain without heating due to Russian rocket fire in Vinnytsia following the shutdown of the Ladyzhynskaya TPP. This was announced by the head of Vinnytsia OVA, Serhiy Borzov .

“The situation in Ladyzhyn has not yet been stabilized,” Borzov said. “18,000 residents of Vinnytsia remain without heating – an emergency situation of a military nature. After the November 23 rocket attacks, the Ladyzhyn TPP was stopped. It was the only enterprise that provided heat to Ladyzhyn.”

According to him, it is necessary to create a new alternative heating system. However, the city authorities are not able to do this in a short time, so the military administration is looking for opportunities to provide heat to the residents of Ladyzhyn as soon as possible.
“We are solving technical issues regarding the new boiler house. There are no issues with financing. There are only issues with the time frame for the production of specific units – it takes a certain amount of time,” he wrote.
Borzov also added that the State Emergency Service is deploying additional heating points in the city. Various measures are taken so that people can get heat and electricity.
“It is clear that in Ladyzhyn today, houses are heated with electrical appliances, so, accordingly, a larger amount of electricity is taken there. But the capacity should be enough for neighboring settlements and communities near Ladyzhynska”, explained the head of the OVA.
In particular, two schools with alternative heating, where there are solid fuel boilers, equipped with diesel generators.

The Ministry of Health reported that patients of the local hospital will be evacuated to the nearby city of Haysyn due to the lack of heating after the Russian missile attack in Ladyzhyn (Vinnytsia region).
