The Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries initiated an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers to impose sanctions on the pro-Russian bookmaker 1xBet and its owners – Roman Semiokhin, Sergei Karshkov and Dmitry Kazorin, said Mikhail Makaruk, a spokesman for the InformNapalm volunteer investigative community.

According to Mykhailo Makaruk, the sanctions list should include not only 1xBet, but also related individuals.

“For example, the directors of the office “Your Betting Company”, to which 1xBet is recorded, as well as proxy sites that work on 1xBet and also collect information about the personal data of Ukrainians in order to transfer it to the FSB to increase the effectiveness of Russian terrorist attacks!” – he said.

In 2019, the bookmaker 1xBet, which at that time had not yet worked legally in the Ukrainian market, helped Russians finance the now banned party “Opposition Platform – For Life”.
1xBet was used as a kind of “gasket” through which representatives of the “Luzhnikov” group – Russian State Duma deputy Alexander Babakov, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Yevgeny Giner and the so-called “thief in law” Mikhail Voevodin, who have long been associated with 1xBet in the media, transferred money from Russia to Ukraine and paid part of the election expenses for Medvedchuk’s party, and Sergey Tsybin helped them in this, which is currently the owner of “Your betting company”, for which 1xBet is registered in Ukraine.

In September this year, due to the “Russian trace”, the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries deprived LLC “Your Betting Company” (1xBet) of licenses to work in Ukraine.
Despite this, the pro-Russian bookmaker continues to work illegally in Ukraine and is trying to regain licenses to work through the court.
