“Russia creates a time bomb” – Foreign Ministry responds to recruitment of mercenaries from Africa for war in Ukraine

 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to information about mercenaries recruited by Russia in Africa to participate in the war in Ukraine.

“The media reports that Russia is recruiting mercenaries in Africa for the war in Ukraine. So that those who do not die on the battlefield can return home and commit even more violence. Russia is creating a time bomb against Africans. It is time for all African nations to tell Moscow that the war must stop,” Nikolenko said.

Russian media published a report by the All Eyes On Wagner project on the activities of Wagner pmc mercenaries in Mali during the first year of the paramilitary formation in the country. According to the report, Russian mercenaries committed massacres, rapes, robberies and attacks on civilians.
