Details
“I thanked all the states that were unanimous that they would be with Ukraine as long as necessary. This is an extremely important signal. I’ve added just one element to that position: “You have to be with us not only as much as you need to, but you have to provide everything we need as quickly as we need it.” Indeed, at this meeting, new contributions of countries to our energy security were announced – transformers, generators, weapons, winter uniforms,” Kuleba said.
According to him, among these positions are 155-mm artillery, shells and armored vehicles.
“I can’t voice everything, but among these positions there is 155-mm artillery, shells, and armored vehicles. All this will soon come to Ukraine and strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine. (…) Of course, everyone is interested in the topic of “Patriots”, air defense systems. I will say this: if no one has talked about it before, except for us – only we raised this issue, but there was no conversation, as such, – now the conversation is taking place, and it is very serious and substantive. And we will continue to work on the result,” the minister said.
The second point, which was on the agenda, concerns tanks of the “NATO” model. Kuleba stressed that he called on the partners to change the logic and supply equipment before the tragedy on the Ukrainian front occurs.
“The third element we talked about is the “formula for peace”, which President Zelenskyy voiced at the G20 summit. It consists of 10 steps, and this is a real way to unite all peace-loving countries of the world, not only Western, but also Africa and Asia,” the Foreign Minister added.
Recall
Earlier, Dmytro Kuleba said that the main topics of NATO, OSCE, G7 events in Romania and Poland would be the supply of air defense systems to Ukraine and the restoration of damaged energy infrastructure.
