The European Union will allocate an additional EUR 1 million for demining in Ukraine. Thiswas announced byEU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell before a two-day meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers in the Polish city of Lodz .

“At this meeting, we will present a proposal to support Ukraine and the OSCE. I will inform you about the allocation of an additional EUR 1 million for demining operations in Ukraine within the OSCE,” he said.

During the meeting, ministers will assess how to strengthen the OSCE to establish a new security order in Europe. In addition, the EU’s chief diplomat said, it is planned to support the proposal for a special tribunal for war crimes of the Russian military in Ukraine.
