During 9 months of a full-scale war, Ukrenergo’s specialists carried out emergency work and partially restored power supply to 45 substations of various voltage classes damaged by shelling. This is 88% of all damaged objects. This was announced at a meeting of the Government by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

He added that emergency repairs have also been carried out and 52 of the 87 high-voltage power lines have been restored. And this is tens of thousands of kilometers.

“A significant number of power facilities — substations and overhead lines — suffered repeated damage after performing emergency restoration work. But again and again, the power engineers restore the damaged and return the light. We receive equipment for repair from almost all European countries. We are assisted by the USA, Canada, Japan, the EU. Hundreds of transformers and tens of thousands of generators are being transported,” the prime minister stressed.

NPC Ukrenergo reported that the power shortage in the power system has now decreased to 27%, and power outages in the country continue.
