Russian occupation authorities are planning a trial of 70 defenders of Azovstal in temporarily occupied Donetsk. According to TASS, “an investigation has been completed” into about 70 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Azov battalion .

“The investigative authorities have completed the investigation of cases “on war crimes” against about 70 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the battalion “Azov”. The cases were transferred to the courts of Donetsk, we were informed by law enforcement agencies,” the message says.
Context
On August 2, Russia’s supreme court recognized the Ukrainian Azov regiment as a “terrorist organization” and banned its activities in Russia.
The Azov regiment reacted to the recognition of their “terrorist organization” in Russia and called on the world to recognize Russia as a terrorist state.
