Ukraine and the free world should not change their goals and compromise with the aggressor. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an online speech at the Madeleine K. Albright Democracy Awards ceremony .

“If Russia feels cornered, it should only blame itself. Ukraine and the free world should not change their goals and exchange their values for any compromises if the dictatorship is afraid to admit a mistake and seduces them with a foreshadowing in battles. We must fully protect freedom and guarantee the security of our democracy. Anyone who has started an unprovoked and criminal war must lose and be held accountable. Ukraine and the world must receive guarantees of peace, stability and security,” Zelenskyy said.
He also added that any other option, except for the Ukrainian victory, would be a mistake. That is why Ukraine continues to need strong leadership from America.

In an interview with the Financial Times, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had not received any specific intelligence from international partners regarding the Russian attack.
