Judges Iryna Zovgorodnya, Serhiy Sas and Ihor Slidenko were dismissed from their positions as judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. This is reported by the CCU .

“On Wednesday, December 7, at a special plenary session, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine considered the issue of dismissal of judges of the CCU Iryna Zovgorodna, Serhiy Sas and Ihor Slidenko from the post of judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the basis of their applications,” the message says.
As a result of the meeting, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine decided to satisfy these applications.

The Venice Commission provided an urgent opinion on the draft law on improving the procedure for selecting candidates for the post of judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on a competitive basis.
In September, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law as a basis.
